The annual AmCham chili fundraiser
Every autumn the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia hosts chili cooking event in which there is a contest for the most delicious chili and lottery for charity. This year's event took place in ‘Zoste’ and from 9 teams the most delicious was considered to be Alberta hotel’s chilli.
In the chilli tasting process, funds were raised for three organisations Latvian Foster Society, SOS villages and Ronald McDonald’ s House Charity . It was possible to win gift cards from Alberta hotel, Balans International Welness Centre, restaurant Indian Raja and other gifts. The main prize was 100 euro gift card from Latvia Tours.
The received 200.00 euro the Latvian Foster Society will use to purchase Christmas gifts for orphans.
