New Years Eve Celebration
The Association’s annual New Years Eve celebration took place on Sunday January 4th, at the Latvian Foster Family Association headquarters. Celebration attendees were foster families, association supporters and partners.
We are pleased that Latvian President Andris Bērziņs with First Lady and LFFA patroness Dace Seisuma graced the event with their presence. In total 430 guests were in attendance.
Guests were entertained with performances by actress Maija Doveika with the childrens “pop” group “Vējā”, as well as by performances of foster children signing along with the Valmiera Cultural ensemble. At the end of the night a lottery took place, with foster families receiving valuable prizes, the foremost being a “SIA Electrolux Latvia Ltd.” gifted electric stove.
